We’ve worked with Matthew Burt for many years and throughout this time have formed a strong visual identity for him. Whilst we were not the originators of his logo we’ve used this as the kingpin to create a recognisable style across all of his literature. The furniture that Matthew designs is technically and meticulously crafted, yet inspiring and majestic. Our brief was to reflect these values and translate the true passion he has for his work of design and making furniture into digital and print mediums.
Our first project was to create a website and advertising campaign to run in The Week publication. The website has since be redesigned to run optimally across desktop, tablet and mobile devices. We’ve treated all designs in a minimal and playful manner. The objective always being to allow the furniture to speak for itself and the accompanying design to play a key support role in presenting the furniture it in a clear and beautiful manner.
The success of the first and second website that we have designed for Matthew has driven enquiries and sales via keywords such as ‘bespoke furniture design’ to an international audience. The design materials we have created have often been presented in the showroom alongside the pieces themselves adding explanations, invitations to events and signage. We continue to work with Matthew on many print and digital items including email newsletter and printed flyers. Since we started working with him he has gained further recognition as one of the uk's prominent furniture designers and we’re delighted to have been able to contribute our skills to help support him on his journey.
