The Challenge
We have been working with Horatio’s Garden to help raise the awareness of the charity and the fantastic work they are continually doing to provide a garden for the Spinal Centre at Salisbury Hospital. The website design is a very image rich and luxury feel destination aiming to give the same feeling of openness, relaxation and optimism that is created by the garden itself.
Our Solution
The site runs through a content management system that allows Horatios Garden to maintain all aspects of the site including a volunteer area with a calendar and message board. The site has two key roles. Firstly to act as a platform to raise awareness of the charity and encourage donations and secondly to provide helpful and up to date information on the garden for patients and visiting guests. As the garden has a continual program of activities and events the site is a regular destination to discover what is happening each week.
The Results
The site has provided a key destination for those looking to visit the garden and learn what events are on, and also to provide a simple way for users to donate or shop online. The site is fully responsive site design to cater for the growing number of users accessing the site on mobile and tablet.
