The Hawk Conservancy came to us asking for help to redesign their outdated website. They were receiving 1000's of visits each month but were not converting these users into visitors, donations or supporters. We were challenged to create a new website for them which would turn this around and become a key tool for those looking to visit the Trust.
We created a range of design layouts that enabled the key information on the site to be easily accessibly to all users. By separating out the Visitor Information from the Conservation Information the site divided itself into two main areas. This division was emphasised with a colour palette difference and made it easy for users to know where they were at all times. We have since added ecommerce functionality and a mobile responsive design to further enhance the user experience.
Since the site was launched visitor numbers have increased as well as memberships and support donations. The BBC Spring Watch Kestrel Count website which we also built was a Hawk Conservancy project and has increased the email newsletter subscription numbers dramatically so the Trust now has a fantastic overall marketing exposure.
