Our challenge
The prestigious Wilton Carpets required a more professional and usable online experience. They also needed a way to sell their rugs and carpets that they could manage in-house. We were asked to produce an easy to use ecommerce website for both the end user and the website admin at Wilton Carpets.
The solution
We created spacious and luxury looking design layouts that allowed the user to explore the site and allow the carpet and rug designs to stand out without distraction. We used a bespoke ecommerce system to create an admin area that is effective to manage product pricing across a large number of products and to create a front end system that made choosing carpet sizes and rug shapes simple by using a filter search. The site also promotes the Wilton Carpet retail outlets stores so that contact details and directions to these are easy to locate.
The results
The site has been a success with regular rug and carpet orders being placed. The site is also acting as an effective tool to direct users to the showroom for the full Wilton Carpets experience. As the site has development we've added a sample request section and continue to make regular updates.
