Our challenge
Best Dog Friendly Cottages needed a high end luxury feel website to promote their portfolio of properties and manage bookings through the site. The site was designed to be responsive and work effectively on all devices including mobiles and tablets/ipads.
The solution
As the site had to contain a lot of different information for each property the design of each property page had to be spacious and inviting yet present all the important information to user at the same time. We used a tab system to break this up into useful sections and allow the display of large high quality of images of each property on each page. The search function on the site was all important for the sites usability and features a keyword search from the homepage, followed by a category filter on the results page allowing users to refine their search by multiple options.
The results
The site has also been search engine optimised for relevant keywords to generate a good amount of traffic to the site each day. Since launch the site has been putting holiday seekers in touch with property owners and continues to grow. As mobile usage increases the site is benefiting from this as it is the only one in its category that currently has responsive website design.
