Our challenge
Piccolo Property is a Salisbury lettings agent that offers a range of letting services for landlords. We were asked to design a property website that would encourage landlords to use Piccolo Property and also to ensure that all properties available to let would be easy to search and display clear details in an easy to view manner. The properties are managed via their lettings management software and the site needed to have an automated import to display them on the website.
The solution
We took the existing logo design and build upon it to create a strong brand look across all the design layouts. By adding lots of landlord information and a blog the site became more than just a property listing destination and more of a hub for landlords to refer to for helpful guidance. Social integration also backed this up. The extra content pages have also strengthened their search engine position. The site features an easy to use search facility and location based search so that users can quickly shortlist potential properties.
The results
The fresh and clean design gives a vibrant and welcoming first impression for a property site. The design is minimal yet individual so remembered by it's visitors. Technically the site is easy for Piccolo to maintain via the CMS system and automated property feed. The site now ranks on page one for their key terms and is working well for property promotion and for marketing to potential landlords. Site traffic has gained solidly since launch and the bounce rate has remained low meaning that users are browsing through the site and finding the content they are looking for and not jumping off elsewhere.
